在這里有四川最早、全國第二的水力發(fā)電站--洞窩水電站。龍溪河發(fā)源于重慶市登東山，在瀘州市注入長江，全長70余公里。龍溪河流經(jīng)洞窩，先形成巨大落差，后在峽谷中蜿蜒。洞窩峽谷風(fēng)景區(qū)其自然風(fēng)光兼有險、奇、幽、秀等多重特色。自建成以來，以洞窩二十景而聞名。龍溪瀑布傾瀉而下，群山從四面八方向中心環(huán)抱，形成獨(dú)特的峽谷天然奇觀，林間小道清幽秀麗，飛來神石奇觀凸顯。
